The western disturbance has reached the mountains. Light snowfall will resume which will increase on March 11 and March 13. There is a possibility of rain in North India also between March 12 and March 14. There are chances of rain in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Western Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan. Very light rain will occur over Sikkim and Northeast India including Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and South Orissa. Temperatures will increase in Karnataka and Kerala including Tamil Nadu.

Right now, a light Western Disturbance is over the mountains, giving very light rain. On March 10 and 12, two new western disturbances will reach the mountains, giving heavy snowfall. There is a possibility of rain in North India also on March 13. There may be hailstorms along with rain in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, North Rajasthan and Western Uttar Pradesh.

Western disturbances will continue to hit the mountains and intermittent snowfall and rain activities will continue. At present, the weather in the plains including North India will remain clear, but there is a possibility of rain in many states of North India from March 11 or 12. Light rain may occur over northeastern states including southern Kerala and northern coastal Orissa during the next 24 to 48 hours. In the rest of India, temperatures will gradually increase and heat will be felt.

A new western disturbance will again bring snowfall in the mountains on March 6 and 7. But the weather of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh will remain dry. After this, two western disturbances will come between March 10 and March 15, which can cause heavy snowfall in the mountains along with hailstorms and rain in the plains.

Day temperatures will start rising once again.

From today, the intensity of rain and snowfall in the mountains will start reducing and the weather will start clearing from tomorrow. A new Western Disturbance will start giving snowfall from March 5 but its intensity will be less. Rain will continue in North Punjab, and North Haryana including Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. West Punjab, West Haryana, Rajasthan and Gujarat will now get relief from rain.

Now heavy rain and snowfall will start in the mountains. Rain has started in Punjab and Haryana, now rain is going to start in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra including Rajasthan. On March 2, rain activities will likely extend to Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Bihar. There may be a drop in maximum temperatures but minimum temperatures will remain near or above normal.
