One District – One Product

The Central Government had started the “One District – One Product” program in the year 2020. Under this, the main focus is on the cultivation and storage of vegetables, spices and fruits etc. Under this scheme of the Central Government, the Madhya Pradesh government has The state districts have been selected. Under this, the Horticulture Department has geared up to provide improved seeds to the farmers.

In order to make available the improved seeds of these crops to the farmers, the Horticulture Department will procure the seeds of improved varieties of fruit, vegetable and spice crops and make them available to the farmers. The Minister of State for Horticulture and Food Processing, Shri Bharat Singh Kushwaha said that “the variety and variety of seeds that the farmers want will be made available.”

  • Ginger – Barwani, Tikamgarh, Niwari

  • Garlic – Mandsaur, Ratlam

  • Green Chillies – Khargone

  • Turmeric – Rewa and Shahdol

  • Coriander – Guna and Neemuch

  • Sitaphal – Alirajpur, Dhar, Seoni

  • Mango – Anuppur, Betul, Sidhi, Singrauli and Umaria

  • Guava – Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Sehore, Sheopur

  • Banana – Bahranpur

  • Orange – Agar – Malwa, Rajgarh

  • Amla – Emerald

  • Onion – Harda, Khandwa, Shajapur, Vidisha and Ujjain

Under this program, the beneficiaries will get 5 kg rice or wheat per person per month in the form of two monthly rations together. Migrants can also take advantage of this scheme.

  • Before sowing the crop, broadcast 50-100 kg FYM in the empty field with Paecilomyces linnaeus (Nematofree) @ 1 kg/acre.

  • Whenever this product is used, it should be ensured that there is sufficient moisture in the field.
