Several people have lost their lives and many are missing due to cloudburst in Himachal Pradesh. Heavy rainfall is likely to continue in the mountains during the next two or three days. Heavy rain alert is issued in Punjab, Haryana as well as Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Chhattisgarh as well. One cyclonic wind area will remain over Rajasthan and the other over central India, due to the effect of both of these, heavy rain is likely in many states of central India. There will be good rain in western Uttar Pradesh, while the possibility of rain will be slightly less in eastern Uttar Pradesh to Bihar and northern Jharkhand.
