Pre-monsoon rains will start in many states before Holi, see weather forecast

There is a possibility of light rain in the western districts of Punjab on March 23. On March 24, there will be clouds and very light rain in North Rajasthan. The weather in Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh will remain dry. Severe heat waves will be seen in southern Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Rain will almost stop in Eastern India also. Light rain may occur over the mountains during the next two days. There is also a possibility of light rain in Lakshadweep including Kerala, South Tamil Nadu and South Coastal Karnataka.

Two Western Disturbances one after the other will affect the mountains. Light snowfall and rain activities may continue over the mountains during the next three days. Now rain activities will stop from Central India and rain will also stop in Uttar Pradesh. Rain activities will continue in West Bengal and North-Eastern states for the next two days, after which there will be a reduction in rainfall from there also. In South India, there is a possibility of light rain in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and South Coastal Karnataka.

Now gradually the rain will go away from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal including Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and East Madhya Pradesh and the weather will start clearing. One western disturbance will hit the mountains on March 20 and another western disturbance on March 23. There is a possibility of light to moderate snowfall and rain in the mountains between March 20 and March 24. Extreme heat will start appearing in most parts of the country.

Chances of heavy rain in many states including UP, MP

A new Western Disturbance will give snowfall in the mountains between March 20 and March 23. On the day of Holi, the weather in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa and Maharashtra will become dry and the temperature will increase.

Chance of heavy rain in half of India, see weather forecast
