A light Western Disturbance is over the mountains which may give snowfall along with light rain over the mountains. During this period, hailstorms along with heavy rain may occur in many districts of Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and East Madhya Pradesh. A new Western Disturbance will be active from February 29 which will start snowfall in the mountains from February 29 and will give rain and snowfall at many places till March 4. Many states of the country will see rain between March 1 and March 3. There may be rain in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh.

The weather patterns have changed due to rain and hailstorms in some states of the country. Periods of rain and hailstorm are being seen from Madhya Pradesh to Jharkhand. At the same time, rain and snowfall activities have been seen in some areas in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand in the last 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, rain activities along with thunderstorms can be seen in Central India on 26 and 27 February. Chances of rain and hailstorm in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, see weather forecast

Rain activities will increase once again in Vidarbha, Telangana, Marathwada, Chhattisgarh, Orissa and Madhya Pradesh. Hail may also fall in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh and along with strong winds, lightning will also be seen. A new Western Disturbance over the mountains may cause heavy snowfall on 26 and 27 February. The weather in North India will remain dry for the time being and due to the increase in temperature, heat will be felt. There may be intense heat during the day in Gujarat and Rajasthan.

Weather will remain dry in most states, chances of rain in eastern India

Now the weather in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Western Uttar Pradesh will become dry. Rain will stop but there may be rain in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and North-Eastern states even today. Rain and snowfall activities will reduce in the mountains but from February 25, a new Western Disturbance may start snowfall again.

Rain activities on February 22 will be visible over Bihar, West Bengal and northeastern states including southern districts of Uttar Pradesh. Now the day temperatures will start increasing once again due to which heat will come in most parts of the country.

There may be rain at one or two places in Punjab and Haryana, but in West Bengal and North-Eastern states including Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, there may be rain at many places along with hailstorm at one or two places. Heavy snowfall continues on the mountains but now the intensity of snowfall will gradually reduce and the weather will start clearing around 23 February. Winds will once again blow from the north due to which the minimum temperatures in North-West India may drop slightly but the day will start getting hot.
