Organic farming will be easier now, know government’s plan
The increasing use of chemical fertilizers in agriculture has a significant impact on the yield potential of the soil. Decreased nutrients in the soil have also led to a decrease in productivity. In such a situation, the central and state governments are advising to adopt of natural farming. Along with this, many schemes are also being run at the state level to promote natural farming, so that more and more farmers can save the land from becoming barren by adopting natural farming.
In this sequence, the Government of Rajasthan is running a special mission to encourage natural farming. Through this, organic seeds, biofertilizers and insecticides will be made available to the farmers of the state. Apart from this, many efforts are also being made to provide full benefits to the farmers through natural farming.
Under this, an ‘Organic Commodity Board’ is being formed, where arrangements will be made to certify the organic products of farmers. Along with this, three farmers who have done excellent work in organic farming will be honoured every year by giving prize money of Rs. 1 lakh each at the state level function. According to the government, about 4 lakh farmers of the state will get benefits from this scheme.

Importance of Rhizobium culture in soybean crop
-
Rhizobium bacteria are found in the root nodules of leguminous plants (soybean and other leguminous crops), which is helpful in increasing the yield of the crop by stabilizing atmospheric nitrogen. Rhizobium is a biofertilizer used in pulse crops.
Benefits of using Rhizobium in soybean crop –
-
Rhizobium bacteria fix the nitrogen present in the environment and reach the roots of plants. Therefore, it reduces the need of chemical fertilizers in pulse crops.
-
The use of Rhizobium has increased the yield of soybean by several percent. The use of Rhizobium increases the amount of nitrogen in the soil and maintains fertility.
-
The nitrogen accumulated by the bacteria present in the roots of soybean is absorbed by the next crop. The nitrogen stored by Rhizobium is completely available to the plants due to it being in organic form.

Saffron cultivation will make you rich, take care of these things
The saffron plant is one of the most expensive spices in the world. It is also called ‘red gold’ because of the price of saffron. Due to this, the cultivation of saffron is considered a profitable crop. By cultivating it, farmers can earn lakhs every year.
It is cultivated in India, especially in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal. By the way, the cultivation of saffron can be done at an altitude of 3000 meters above sea level. However, now farmers are also cultivating saffron in states like Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana.
Suitable soil and climate for the cultivation of saffron
Its crop cycle is of 3 to 4 months. The months of June to September are considered good for farming. For this, it is necessary to have sandy, loamy or loamy soil. This crop does not grow in heavy clay soils.
Along with this, good sunlight is needed for the crop of saffron. The saffron crop gets spoiled in the extreme cold and rainy seasons. That is, for the cultivation of saffron, choose a place where there is no stagnation of water.

Farmers will get subsidy for agricultural machinery, know when the list will be released
Agricultural machines have made farming farming very easy. However, not all farmers are able to buy these machines due to financial difficulties. In such a situation, the central and state governments are running many schemes to increase their availability to the farmers. In many states, agricultural machines are provided to eligible farmers on subsidy.
In this sequence, the Madhya Pradesh government had recently announced to provide agricultural machinery to the farmers of the state for sowing. Under this, rotavator, reversible plow, seed drill and seed cum fertilizer drill were to be provided. At the same time, the beneficiaries had to apply for this scheme from 25 May to 6 June 2022.
But due to the Panchayat elections in the state, the model code of conduct came into force from May 28. Due to this, it has taken some time to release the list of selected farmers. Now the list of selected farmers will be issued only after the code of conduct is removed i.e. after July 15, 2022. Which you will be able to see on the lottery e-Krishi Yantra Grant portal https://dbt.mpdage.org/Eng_Index.aspx.
