Adopt Zero Budget Farming

  • Zero budget farming is a type of natural farming.

  • This farming is dependent on cow dung and cow urine.

  • Farmers cultivating by this method do not have to buy any kind of fertilizers and pesticides from the market.

  • Instead of chemical fertilizer, farmers themselves make compost prepared from cow dung.

  • From cow dung and urine of local species, are made jeevamrit and ghanjeevamrit.

  • Use of these in the field leads to the increase of the nutrients in the soil as well as the expansion of biological activities.

  • Jeevamrit can be sprayed once or twice a month in the field, while Jeevamrut can be used to treat seeds.

How to convert crop residue into manure by speed compost

  • Speed compost is a product that is used in quick manure from crop waste (Wheat stalks, paddy straw etc).

  • This 1 kg product decomposes 1 ton of crop waste into manure.

  • It contains microorganisms belonging to Bacillus, Azotobacter, Trichoderma, Cellulolytic, Aspergillus, Penicillium etc. which destroy harmful fungi in the soil besides quick manure production. Hence, it also does the work of plant protection.

  • First of all, mix the crop residue in the soil with the help of rotovator.

  • After that, broadcast 4 kg Speed compost and 45 kg urea per acre and immediately apply water. So that microorganisms can do their work faster.

Must Use of decomposer before sowing cotton

decomposer before sowing cotton
  • Decomposer is a type of biofertilizer that also acts as a fertility enhancer in the soil.

  • It should also be used when the crop has been harvested from the field.

  • Farmers should use the powder form of decomposer @ 4 kg per acre with field soil or cow dung.

  • By maintaining a small amount of moisture in the field, you can sow the cotton crop after 10 to 15 days of broadcast.

  • Since these microorganisms work to convert the residue of old crops into manure, their digestion process changes from anaerobic to aerobic, Which destroys pathogenic and harmful organisms.

  • Through biological enrichment and the synergistic action of enzymatic catalysis, chronic residues are converted into healthy, rich, nutrient-balanced fertilizers.

Soil treatment is necessary for chilli nursery

  • Sowing chilli seeds after treating the soil in the nursery makes chilli seedlings very good and disease-free.

  • For soil treatment use 10 kg FYM,1 kg DAP and Maxxroot 50 gm per square meter.

  • To protect the bed from ants and termites, use Carbofuran @ 15 gm per bed, after that sow the seeds.

  • After completing the sowing process, keep irrigating the nursery as needed.

  • To prevent weeds in the nursery stage of chilli, weeding should also be done as per the requirement.
