The government has announced that compensation will be given for crops damaged by rain

The government has announced that compensation will be given for crops damaged by rain

A lot of fluctuations are being seen in the weather this year. In some places, the rainfall has been very low and in some places, the crops have been ruined due to heavy rains. Due to excessive rain, there has been a huge decline in the production of sugarcane crops. Along with this, farmers are also facing huge losses. To rescue the farmers from this critical situation, the Haryana government has come forward and has decided to give compensation on a per-acre basis.

Haryana’s Deputy Chief Minister has asked farmers cultivating sugarcane to apply for compensation for crop damage. Let us tell you that up to 75% of the crops of most of the farmers in the state have been destroyed. Many farmers are also suffering from red rot disease in their crops due to excessive rains. To compensate for the losses caused to the farmers, the government is going to give compensation at the rate of Rs 12500 per acre. Even if a farmer has insured his crop, there will be no reduction in the compensation amount given by the government. This means that farmers will be able to avail the benefits of compensation.
