The weather will remain dry over Western Uttar Pradesh including Western Rajasthan, Delhi, Punjab and Haryana, but rain will continue over Central India and East India. There will be rain in South East Rajasthan and South East Gujarat including some areas of Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rain is possible in Maharashtra. Monsoon will remain active in the southern peninsula. There will be heavy rain in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Around September 30 or October 1, a low pressure will form in the Bay of Bengal which may deepen further but the possibility of it becoming a storm is very less or can be said to be negligible.
