The central and state governments run many types of schemes with the aim of helping increase the income of farmers in the country. One such scheme is ‘Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana’ which has been started with the aim of providing financial help to the farmers. Through this, farmers can get good yields by using high-quality seeds, fertilizers and new technologies. Financial assistance and training in new technologies are also provided through this scheme.
Let us tell you that under ‘Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana’, two different types of benefits are available. The subsidy is given up to 60% by the Central Government and up to 40% by the State Government. If you are a resident of hilly states, then about 70% of your expenditure will be subsidized by the central government and a 10% subsidy will be given by the state government.
