Monsoon became active again in the whole country, it is raining in almost all the states

Monsoon has become active once again with several weather systems persisting. There is a low-pressure area over North Chhattisgarh. A new cyclonic circulation is forming in the northwest Bay of Bengal. There is also a cyclonic circulation over Gujarat. Under the influence of all these weather systems, heavy rains may occur over Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, North Madhya Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan including Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh. There is a possibility of torrential rain once again in the mountains. There may be heavy rains along the coast of Maharashtra and Karnataka including Mumbai. Rains will remain scanty over Bihar, Jharkhand, East Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.

Vegetable seeds will be available for free, know the government’s plan?

A big good news has come from the government for the farmers of Rajasthan. There are reports that now millions of farmers in the state will be provided with free vegetable seeds by the government. Tell that the government has recently announced on this subject that about 20 lakh farmers of the state will be given free vegetable seed kits. About Rs 60 crore will be spent on this entire scheme from the Farmers Welfare Fund in the financial year 2023-24 under the Rajasthan Horticulture Development Mission.

According to the news, soon after the launch of this scheme, 5 lakh farmers of the state will be given combo kitchen garden kits for single crops in about 500 square meter area and 15 lakh farmers for 100 square meter area. This kit will include seeds of crops like Tinda, Bhindi, Chilli, Guar, Gourd, Spinach, Carrot, Chilli, Pea, Radish, Tomato, Brinjal, Cucumber etc.

For the next few days, heavy rains are likely to occur in most of the states of the country, leading to a flood-like situation in some places. By the end of July, the monsoon will start weakening. It is possible that the effect of El Nino will start appearing in the month of August. But there is good news that the Indian Ocean Dipole can be positive which can reduce the effect of El Nino.

Because of this, sometimes the government also gives heavy compensation to the farmers, due to which the financial burden on the government also increases. For a permanent solution to this problem, the Haryana government has started a new scheme.

Through this scheme, the problem of rainwater collecting corners will be easily solved and farmers will not have to spend any money to use this facility. This scheme launched by the state government is the “Water Recharge Borewell Scheme”. To take advantage of this scheme, you can visit the official website of the Irrigation Department of Haryana and apply online.

After applying, some government employees will come to inspect your fields and take stock of the soil. After this, if there is really water accumulation in your field, then your application will be accepted and then the work of installing the borewell will start. This “Water Recharge Borewell” will be made available to you absolutely free of cost. This will not only end the problem of water logging in the fields but will also help in increasing the groundwater level.

Get fencing done in the fields on 50% grant, know the plan of the government

To protect the crops from stray animals, fencing is done in the fields. Due to the fencing, animals are not able to enter the field and the crop remains safe. However, small-class farmers are unable to get the fencing done due to financial constraints. Because of this, they do a lot of damage.

In such a situation, for the financial help of these farmers, the Rajasthan government has started the fencing scheme. Under this, the National Food Security Mission on oilseeds, fellow farmers can get thorny nets installed around their fields on subsidy. Through this scheme, 50% of the cost of wiring or a maximum of 40 thousand rupees will be given.

To take advantage of this scheme, it is necessary to have a group of at least 3 farmer companions. Also, the farmer group should have 3 hectares of cultivable land i.e. 12 bighas of land. However, according to the condition, electrical connections cannot flow in the wiring.

The benefit of the Rajasthan Tarbandi Yojana will be given to all categories of farmer companions. Open your own cold storage, government will give up to 75% grant

Integrated Horticulture Development Mission Scheme

Farmers get good yields through their hard work, but many times due to lack of proper storage, most of the farmers have to bear heavy losses. Many farmers are forced to sell their produce at low prices to avoid this loss. On the other hand, with the help of cold storage, farmers are able to keep their produce safe for a long time.

However, not every farmer is financially capable of opening cold storage. To solve this problem of the farmers, the Bihar government is giving subsidies ranging from 50 to 75% on the installation of cold storage in the village through the Integrated Horticulture Development Mission Scheme.

If you also want to start cold storage under this scheme, then you will need Aadhaar card, PAN card and land documents. With these documents, you can apply on the official website of the Agriculture Department of the state. If you want, you can go to the Horticulture Department of your district for more information about this scheme.
