Monsoon has become active once again with several weather systems persisting. There is a low-pressure area over North Chhattisgarh. A new cyclonic circulation is forming in the northwest Bay of Bengal. There is also a cyclonic circulation over Gujarat. Under the influence of all these weather systems, heavy rains may occur over Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, North Madhya Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan including Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh. There is a possibility of torrential rain once again in the mountains. There may be heavy rains along the coast of Maharashtra and Karnataka including Mumbai. Rains will remain scanty over Bihar, Jharkhand, East Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.
