Sometimes, due to heavy rains, too much rainwater gets accumulated in the fields and due to this, there is a big loss to the crop. Because of this, sometimes the government also gives heavy compensation to the farmers, due to which the financial burden on the government also increases. For a permanent solution to this problem, the Haryana government has started a new scheme.
Through this scheme, the problem of rainwater collecting corners will be easily solved and farmers will not have to spend any money to use this facility. This scheme launched by the state government is the “Water Recharge Borewell Scheme”. To take advantage of this scheme, you can visit the official website of the Irrigation Department of Haryana and apply online.
After applying, some government employees will come to inspect your fields and take stock of the soil. After this, if there is really water accumulation in your field, then your application will be accepted and then the work of installing the borewell will start. This “Water Recharge Borewell” will be made available to you absolutely free of cost. This will not only end the problem of water logging in the fields but will also help in increasing the groundwater level.
