Actually, black rice is rich in protein, vitamin B, vitamin B1, B2, B3, B6 and folic acid (B9) which are very essential for the human body. Apart from this, it also contains many minerals like phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, sodium, potassium, iron and zinc. Due to these qualities of black rice, it gets more price than white rice in the market.

Black rice is mainly cultivated by a large number of farmers in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. Let us tell you that you can cultivate black rice in any soil and the summer season is most suitable for its cultivation. The most important thing is that the production of black rice is more than that of white rice. Talking about earnings, its price in the market remains around Rs 400 to 500 per kg. It is sold at Rs 30 to 40 per kg more than white rice.

Subsidy will be given on bamboo cultivation

The Government of India is promoting bamboo cultivation to increase the income of farmers in the country. Many schemes are being run for more and more farmers to cultivate bamboo. In this episode, the Madhya Pradesh government is providing grants to encourage bamboo planting in the state.

Facilities provided under the scheme

The average cost per plant of bamboo has been fixed by the state government at ₹240. Under this, the government is providing a 50% subsidy per plant to the farmers. Accordingly, the farmer will be given Rs 120 per plant. Where 60% subsidy will be given by the central government and 40% by the state government. Along with this, a nodal officer will be selected in every district of the state. With the help of this people will be able to get all the information related to this scheme.

To apply for this, click on the official website nbm.nic.in. Get yourself registered by visiting the farmer registration link here. After this, the registration form will open, fill it out carefully and submit it.
