The effect of deep depression will remain over Gujarat today. Heavy rain is also likely in Pakistan’s Sindh province. Rain activities will reduce in Gujarat from tomorrow, 28 August. Today, heavy rain is likely in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, including some districts of Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Heavy rain is also possible in West Bengal, Jharkhand and Odisha as well as northern districts of Maharashtra. Monsoon will remain sluggish in South India. Light to moderate rain may occur in the northeastern states. Rain will also remain light in Bihar for now.
