Monsoon will be active in East India after several days, due to which there is a possibility of rain in Bihar, Jharkhand, East Uttar Pradesh including West Bengal and Odisha. These states will now get relief from drought. Rains will also increase in the northeastern states. Some parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan may receive good rains. Heavy rains are also possible in Chhattisgarh and East Madhya Pradesh. Rain activities will reduce in Mumbai, while drought-like conditions may develop in South India.
