The deep low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal is now moving in the west direction. Due to its effect, there will be torrential rains in many districts of Maharashtra including Telangana, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. There is an alert of heavy rain in many districts including Mumbai. In North India too, there may be heavy rains over the mountains including Punjab, Haryana, East Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rain is also possible in East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal after 2 days.
