During the lockdown, the government is taking several steps to help the farmers in particular. Along with this, the government is also paying attention to that more and more farmers get involved and get benefit from this scheme. For this, the government is sending a message on the phone to the farmers and urging them to join the insurance. With this, the risk of farmers in farming will be reduced.
Along with linking the farmers with this scheme, the government is placing several types of conditions before the insurance companies, which will help in securing the interest of the farmers. Under this, the central and state governments together pay most of the premiums of insurance.
