The first western disturbance of the post-monsoon season may give rain and snow over the mountains. There is a possibility of light rain in northern parts of Punjab and Haryana also. The weather in most areas of the country will now remain dry and the withdrawal of monsoon will be complete soon. Along with heavy rain in the northeastern states, light to moderate rain may also occur in the southern peninsula.
