A new western disturbance will hit the mountains during the next 24 hours. Due to its effect, rain on the mountains and snowfall on the higher peaks is possible. Light rain may also occur in northern districts of Haryana and Punjab. There will be heavy rain in northeastern states and light rain in eastern India. Rain activities are going to increase once again in South India.
