The monsoon will now remain active in the plains of the Ganges. Good rain will continue here for the next four or five days. Good rain will continue in many districts of Haryana, East Punjab, East Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, North Chhattisgarh and North Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rain will also occur in northern districts of West Bengal including Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh. Light to moderate rain may occur in coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu including coastal districts of Maharashtra. Monsoon will remain weak in western Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Telangana and northern districts of Karnataka including Gujarat.
