- Apply well-rotted FYM/ compost @ 10-15 t/acre at the time of land preparation and mix well with the soil.
- Use urea 110 kg, single super phosphate 155 kg, and muriate of potash 40 kg per acre.
- Before sowing the seeds, add the full amount of SSP, Muriate of Potash, and one-third of urea.
- Use the remaining amount of urea near the roots, and away from touching the stem and mix well in the soil during the initial development period.
- When the crop is 10-15 days old, then sprinkle with good quality as well as 19:19:19 + micronutrient @ 2-3g / liters of water for good growth of the crop.
