The depression formed in the Bay of Bengal has now weakened. The danger has been averted from the entire Tamil Nadu including Chennai but heavy rains are expected in South Andhra Pradesh. No Western Disturbance will affect the mountains for the next 1 week. Cold and dry winds from the northwest direction will reduce the temperature over northwest central and east India, leading to winter.
