Cyclone Biparjoy has now turned towards Gujarat and is likely to hit the northwest coast of Gujarat by the evening of June 15. The wind speed at the time of landfall will be 130 to 140 km. Strong winds with heavy rains will occur in many districts of Gujarat including Pakistan’s Sindh province. There are chances of heavy rains in many districts of Rajasthan as well. From June 18 to June 20, rains may occur in parts of North Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. After this the storm will weaken after reaching Uttarakhand.
