On the morning of 23 May, many states including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh received hailstorms with heavy rain and thunderstorms. A sharp drop in temperature was recorded in North India including Delhi. During the next 24 hours, many states of East India including North India may receive rain. There is a possibility of rain in the northeastern states including Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and also in South India. There will be no heatwave in North India for the next few days.
