A cyclonic wind area is formed over Lakshadweep. Due to its effect, a low pressure area may form in the next three days which will strengthen and become a depression. Right now it is difficult to say whether it will move towards Maharashtra, Gujarat or will move away from the country moving in the northwest direction. At this time the departure of monsoon can gain momentum. Monsoon may depart from some more areas of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Rain activities will continue in the northeastern states. There is a possibility of heavy rain in South India. Rain may occur in many districts of Maharashtra including Mumbai.
