Western disturbances will continue to hit the mountains and intermittent snowfall and rain activities will continue. At present, the weather in the plains including North India will remain clear, but there is a possibility of rain in many states of North India from March 11 or 12. Light rain may occur over northeastern states including southern Kerala and northern coastal Orissa during the next 24 to 48 hours. In the rest of India, temperatures will gradually increase and heat will be felt.
