Monsoon rains expected to increase in many districts, see weather forecast

Monsoon has made some more progress and advanced into East India including South India. A low pressure area as a remnant of Cyclone Biparjoy is now over North Madhya Pradesh which will gradually move up to East Uttar Pradesh. Under its influence, moisture-laden winds will come from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal, which will take the monsoon towards North India. Within the next 4 or 5 days, the monsoon can reach Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh including Uttar Pradesh and southern parts of Gujarat. There is a possibility of good rains all over India for the next 10 to 12 days, only Rajasthan and Gujarat may have to wait longer.

The storm caused havoc, rain is expected to continue for the next 24 hours

Cyclonic storm Biparjoy, which raged in the Arabian Sea, has finally hit the coast of Gujarat. The storm made landfall in the Kutch region of Gujarat, during which strong winds were blowing at a speed of about 115 to 125 kmph. Due to the storm, it is currently raining heavily in many areas of Gujarat. According to the Meteorological Department, similar rains will continue in Gujarat till midnight. After heavy rains in Gujarat, strong winds are blowing in Kutch, Jamnagar and Dwarka. Due to this, pictures of falling of electric poles and trees are also coming to the fore. Therefore, electricity has also been cut in these areas for the time being.

Biparjoy storm becomes severe, there will be heavy rain in many areas

Cyclone Biparjoy will now move in the northeast direction and make landfall on the northwest coast of Gujarat. The wind speed can be up to 140 kilometers per hour. Very high waves will rise in the sea and water can fill many areas along the seashore. All the people living on the west coast of Gujarat are requested to remain in safe places from the morning of 15th June till the evening of 15th June.

Monsoon progress is sluggish, Mumbai along with the coastal districts of Maharashtra will continue to receive rain. But the wait for the rains of monsoon will continue. At present, heatwave conditions are continuing over Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh including Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Due to which the possibility of relief is not visible at the moment.

Monsoon knocked in these states, heavy rain started
