Monsoon picks up pace, heavy rain expected in many states including MP

Today, Monsoon may advance further and cover some more districts of Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. After this, soon the monsoon will reach eastern Uttar Pradesh. There will be heavy rains in Madhya Pradesh during the next 1 week. There is a possibility of heavy rains in many districts of Uttar Pradesh as well. Flood-like conditions are likely in the northeastern states, especially over Assam. West Uttar Pradesh including Delhi, Punjab and Haryana will have to wait for at least 3 more days for monsoon to start raining there. Torrential rains may occur over Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh on June 25 and 26.
