It will gradually move towards Uttar Pradesh and rain activities will increase over Uttar Pradesh along with Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and East Rajasthan. Moderate rain is also possible over East Gujarat. Monsoon will remain weak over West Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch along with Interior Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Moderate rains will continue over the northeastern states. In Himachal Pradesh, there will be fewer rain activities, then heavy rains are possible at some places in Uttarakhand. Chances of rain are visible at one or two places in Delhi, Punjab and Haryana.

Now rain activities will intensify over Interior Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, and Telangana including Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. There will also be heavy rain in some places. Light rain is likely over West Uttar Pradesh, East Punjab and East Haryana including Delhi. Rain activities may also increase over the Maharashtra coast. Moderate to heavy rain is possible over Coastal Karnataka. Monsoon will remain dry or weak over most parts of South India.

Around August 17, a low-pressure area will form in the northwest Bay of Bengal, under whose influence good rains will occur over Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and East Uttar Pradesh. The monsoon of South India will remain almost dry.

Rain will increase in North India from August 15, rain will continue in eastern states
