The effect of both the low pressures may cause heavy rains in many states. Heavy rain is possible in the eastern districts of Bihar including West Bengal, Jharkhand, Orissa, and Chhattisgarh. There will also be heavy rain on the coast of Kerala, Karnataka and Maharashtra. Heavy rain activities will continue in Goa. Monsoon will soon bid farewell to Punjab, Haryana and some other parts of Rajasthan. Dry winds will continue to blow from the northwest direction in most parts of northwest and central India. Currently, it is estimated that the monsoon will be below normal.
