An area of cyclonic winds has formed in the South West Bay of Bengal, while another cyclonic wind has formed near the Andaman Sea up to 5.8 kilometres above sea level. Rain activities will increase in the southern peninsula and around the 25th – 26th there may be rain at many places in Maharashtra including Gujarat. Temperatures will gradually fall in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Gujarat, and Rajasthan. Cyclone Midhili hit the Bangladesh coast on the afternoon of 17 November and has now weakened and is visible around Nagaland as a low-pressure area. Now north-easterly winds will become stronger in the Bay of Bengal, which will increase rainfall in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh. There is a cyclonic circulation in the southern Andaman Sea which may cause heavy rainfall in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
