Stirring in the Bay of Bengal, is a new storm coming again?

A low-pressure area will soon form in the Bay of Bengal which will gradually turn into a depression. At present there is doubt whether this storm will form or not. We will keep giving it updates continuously. There will be no western disturbance in the mountains for the next week, the weather of North Central and Eastern India including the entire mountains will remain dry. Due to the effect of low pressure, rain activities may start in Gangetic West Bengal, including Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Orissa.

The weather throughout the country will remain dry except in Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep, South Kerala. A low-pressure area may form in the Bay of Bengal around November 15.

On the other hand, due to the easterly wave, a new round of rain may start in some states of South India from November 14. In the last 24 hours, there has been heavy rain in many parts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Moderate to heavy rain is possible over South Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and South Karnataka during the next 24 hours. Light to moderate rain may occur over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Light rain at one or two places with moderate rain at one or two places may occur over South Odisha and South Telangana. After 24 hours, there may be rain and snowfall in Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir. On the other hand, no significant improvement is expected in the air quality index of Delhi and NCR.
