This time, a lot of disparity is seen in the monsoon. Heavy rains are falling in Southern Odisha, Southern Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. There are flood-like conditions in Gujarat. Now, rain is increasing in Western Rajasthan as well. But the weather of Gangetic West Bengal including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand is almost dry. Rains may increase in North India from 21st July, but heavy monsoon rains will be awaited.
