The monsoon line can now move northwards. A low pressure area is over Madhya Pradesh, while a cyclonic wind area is over the north-eastern Arabian Sea and a weak western disturbance is over the mountains. Due to the effect of all this, good rain is expected in many districts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, western Uttar Pradesh, northern and eastern Rajasthan as well as Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Odisha. Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Rainfall will be less in West Bengal including Jharkhand.
