What to do to increase the fruit quality of watermelon
  • In the watermelon crop, if the quality of the fruits is very  good, then the farmers get production along with the good income.
  • Potash (MOP) @ 2 kg / acre should be given in  the soil through a drip system, daily in the initial stage of fruit growing in watermelon crop.
  • The use of potash makes the size of the melon fruit very good.
  • With this, spray Prominomex @ 30 ml/pump and give PK bacteria @ 1 kg/acre from the soil.
  • Pro amino maxx and Procombimaxx both work to improve the watermelon fruit colour and shineness.

  • Honeybees play a very important role in natural  pollination in cucurbits.
  • In the cucurbit crop, through honeybees, pollination is done up to 80%.
  • A large number of hairs are found in the body of honeybees, which pick up pollen particles. After this, they collect pollen and transport it to the female flowers.
  • Honeybees do not cause any harm to the crops.
  • The action of fertilization is completed after the above mentioned action. After this, the process, conversion starts from flower to fruit in the plant.

An ambitious scheme is being operated by the Government of India, known as One Nation One Ration Card. Free and cheap rations are provided under this scheme. Now to make the ration system more organized, a mobile app has been started by the Food and Public Distribution Department.

This app will benefit the beneficiaries covered under the National Food Security Act. These beneficiaries will be able to know for themselves how much grain they will get from this app. The name of this new app is “Mera Ration App”. The main goal of this app will be to bring complete transparency in the ration distribution process.

The biggest benefit of this app will be for the expatriates, because under this One Nation One Ration Card, the card holder can get food grains from any ration shop in any region of the country. The beneficiary of this scheme can easily get the information about the ration shops running under the public distribution system in his vicinity.
