From March 17, rain activities will increase over eastern and northeastern states including Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. Rain and thundershowers may also occur over South India including Rajasthan and Gujarat. Heavy rain is expected in the mountains.

Two consecutive Western Disturbances will knock on the mountains and will continue to give rain and snowfall till 20 or 21 March. Rains will start in central India from March 15. By March 16, rain activities will start increasing over Central India including South and East India. Heavy rains are possible in East India including Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Rains are also expected in Vidarbha and Marathwada. Rain and thundershowers will also occur over East Gujarat including Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan. Light rain is expected in Delhi, Punjab and Haryana.
