This time the weather is falling on farmers. Crops have been ruined. Once again, rain may start in western Uttar Pradesh including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Rajasthan. Rain activities will start on March 23 and continue till 24 or 25 March. There is no possibility of rain from eastern Uttar Pradesh and in states like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala etc. including eastern India. The mountains may once again have heavy rain and snowfall.

Save water in irrigation and take money, know what is the government’s plan

There are many areas of our country where farmers face difficulty in irrigating their fields. The biggest reason for this is the continuous lowering of the underground water level. The government also understands this problem of the farmers and is also removing this problem of irrigation through many schemes. In this series, the Haryana government is encouraging the farmers of the state to adopt the micro-irrigation model. Under this, farmers can get micro irrigation systems installed on subsidy.

Explain that the government is giving this subsidy on installing drip, and sprinkler irrigation systems and recharging borewells etc. under the micro irrigation system. Significantly, these devices also help a lot in saving water.

However, under this scheme, a subsidy of up to 85% is being given on recharging borewells and a target has been set to install 1000 recharging borewells in the initial phase of the scheme. To take advantage of this, the farmers of Haryana can visit the website of the Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Haryana, hid.gov.in or can also inquire about this at the nearest Agriculture Department office.
