Yesterday evening and night time we saw rain and thundershower over western Rajasthan Punjab and western districts of Haryana. Now the weather in all these states will change and the temperature will start rising. Rain activities will now be seen over Vidarbha, Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, South Chhattisgarh, Telangana and North Interior Karnataka. There is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places, strong winds and hail.

Government will give 1500 cows for free

Farmers in the country have always been rearing cows and it has always been a source of additional income for the farmers. The government also understands this, which is why it runs many schemes in this regard, which will help the farmers in animal husbandry and earn more profit. In this series, the Madhya Pradesh government has decided to give 1500 cows and buffaloes free of cost to the farmers.

Apart from giving cows and buffaloes, the government is going to give a huge subsidy of 90% on other expenses other than fodder for animals. Under this scheme, the government will give two cows or buffaloes free of cost to the people of Baiga, Bharia and Sahariya communities so that they can join animal husbandry. The government is also giving them subsidies in this regard. If you are a resident of Madhya Pradesh and belong to Baiga, Bharia and Sahariya communities, then you can get the benefit.

There may be thunder and lightning in western Rajasthan. The weather in Gujarat and South Rajasthan including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh will remain dry and warm. Thunderstorms will start in Maharashtra and Telangana from the 5th of April and there is a possibility of heavy rains in Maharashtra including Telangana, South Chhattisgarh and North Karnataka on the 6th and 7th of April. Rains will continue in the northeastern states, there is a possibility of light to moderate rains till April 6 over the mountains.

The government also keeps on encouraging the farmers in this regard. In this episode, the “Crop Diversification Scheme” is being run by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.

Under this scheme, government assistance will be given to the farmers for 3 years. The biggest benefit of this scheme would be to increase the production capacity of the farms and benefit the environment. Explain that in this scheme, instead of wheat and paddy, farmers cultivating such crops will get benefits, which crops are not kept under the minimum support price (MSP). Horticulture crops will mainly be included in this.

It is a matter of relief that most of the districts of Gujarat including most parts of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra will remain almost dry. East India will also remain clear but there may be heavy rains in North East India.
