Farmers of this state are getting a 50% subsidy on the cultivation of coarse grains

Emphasis is being laid by the government on the cultivation of coarse grains. These grains are not only good for health, but their cultivation also improves the fertility of the fields. In view of this, the Uttar Pradesh government is encouraging the farmers of its state to do this farming.

State’s Agriculture Minister Mr Surya Pratap Shahi said that “under the International Millet Year, efforts are being made to take ‘Shri Anna’ scheme to the people. Through this scheme, farmers will be able to cultivate maximum coarse grains.” He further said that “Our government is going to distribute Zayed crop seeds at 50% subsidy to farmers across the state. For this, we will try to provide seeds to farmers by setting up stalls at the block level of every district.
