Wheat procurement has been stopped in MP under the circumstances of Yaas storm

The Yaas storm that started from the Bay of Bengal has also seen havoc in many districts of Madhya Pradesh. Due to this storm, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Madhya Pradesh in the next few days. Keeping this fear of rain in mind, the government has banned the purchase of wheat in 15 districts of the state.

The government has given clear instructions in this regard that till the situation gets better, the purchase of wheat will be banned. The districts where this ban has been imposed include Rewa, Satna, Sidhi, Singrauli, Shahdol, Umaria, Anuppur, Jabalpur, Dindori, Mandla, Narsinghpur, Seoni, Katni, Balaghat and Chhindwara.

Which Mandi of Madhya Pradesh will open from June 1 and where will the market be closed

The Madhya Pradesh government is going to relax the Corona curfew from June 1. The process of unlocking will start gradually from June 1. The government has started preparing for this unlock. Many mandis are being sanitized.

However, the news is that the mandis of Indore will not open yet. Apart from this, mandis can be opened in areas of Madhya Pradesh where the pace of corona infection has stopped completely. Districts like Bhopal, Sagar, Indore and Rewa where infections still persist. There is no possibility of opening of mandi in these districts from June 1 onwards.

Yaas storm wreaked havoc on many states of the country

Yaas storm in Bay of Bengal knocked off the coast of Odisha yesterday and wreaked havoc on many states. Although cyclonic storm Yas has started to weaken now, there is a possibility of heavy rains in many states. Heavy rains may occur over most parts of Jharkhand and East Madhya Pradesh along with several cities of eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Locust groups may attack again, Alert issued in many areas

Last year, there was a massive attack by Locust groups, due to which the crops were heavily damaged. Now the Locust groups can attack once again. On May 17, an advisory was issued by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations regarding the new Locust attack.

In this advisory, the Locust group’s attack in India is feared. Farmers have been asked to remain alert in Jaisalmer region of Rajasthan and Aligarh region of Uttar Pradesh as well as some other districts.

Actually, due to the unseasonal rains caused by the storm in the Arabian Sea, the humidity in the air has increased. The probability of locusts to flourish in such climates increases. According to reports, some locusts have been formed in southwestern Iran. If these groups get favorable air then they can enter India via Pakistan. Let’s tell you that these Locust groups go out in flocks and ruin the crops.
