Traders who trade in crops have to work hard to find the source of the crops. Be it farmers living in remote villages or other vendors living in different regions, it takes a lot of time and effort to reach out to all of them, discuss the quality and price of the crop, and finally negotiate a deal. The cost of this work also becomes very high. But now the traders are doing this work very easily sitting at home on the Gram Vyapar of the Gramophone app. One of these traders is Ashok Kumar Patidar of Ratlam district who has been trading crops from Gram Vyapar for the last several months.
Ashok Kumar Patidar while talking about his experiences of trading crops from Gram Vyapar said that “I have been trading in many crops for the last 10 years but during this time I did not get any big platform to increase my business. A few months back I got a big platform in the form of Gram Vyapar of Gramophone. I got many traders and many farmers on Gram Vyapar. Now I am able to do my business easily in many other states of the country also.
He further said that “I bought the crops of the farmers who got me from Gram Vyapar, it also benefited the farmers and I also benefited. Gram Vyapar helped the farmers by removing the trouble in travelling around the traders. Now farmers sit at home and settle the deal by contacting traders like us.
Ashok ji said that he did so much business in the last one month with Gram Vyapar, which sometimes could not be done even in six months. He told that the work related to business which used to take 2 days earlier, is now done in a few hours.
Gram Vyapar has started to modernize the trade of crops. Although this is just the beginning, in the coming months it is expected that ‘Gram Vyapar’ will completely change the business of crops and will become a reason for the prosperity of the farmers as well as the traders.
