Heavy rains may continue over Gujarat and the West Coast of India including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh. There is a possibility of cloudburst and landslides with heavy rains in Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. After 2 days, rains will increase in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Northeast states as well. Rains will be scanty over Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.

It is not in the power of common farmers to buy big modern machines for agriculture. That is why the government makes a provision of huge subsidies on agricultural equipment. Through many schemes, the government provides agricultural equipment to the farmers at a huge subsidy. One of these schemes is the Harvester Subsidy Scheme. Through this scheme, farmers can get a subsidy of up to 50% on the purchase of harvester machine. This means that farmers can take the harvester machine to their homes by paying just half the amount.

Significantly, the harvester machine is used in the work of harvesting crops like paddy and wheat. The price of this medium ranges from about Rs 10 lakh to Rs 50 lakh in the Indian market. The farmer himself is not able to pay such a huge price, which is why the government is now giving 50% of this entire amount as a subsidy so that the farmers can buy it easily.

Explain that the benefits available under the Central Government Harvester Subsidy Scheme are given in different ways in different states. Under this scheme, a 50% subsidy is given to SC and ST farmers, while a 30 to 40% subsidy is given to farmers belonging to the general category. If you want to take advantage of the subsidy scheme for the purchase of this machine, then visit your nearest public service centre and get complete information about it there.

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has proved to be a boon for the farmers. Lakhs of farmers have got financial help from this. Through this scheme launched by the government in the year 2018, so far 13 installments of Rs 2000 have been sent to the farmers’ bank accounts and now preparations are on to send the amount of the 14th installment to the farmers.

If you also want to get the 14th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, then you should make this preparation in advance. You should get e-KYC and Bhulekh verified soon. In fact, this time the government will send the installment amount to only those eligible farmers whose e-KYC and Bhulekh would have been completed. Let us inform you that so far e-KYC of 1.84 lakh farmers has been completed.

To get the amount of 14th installment, it will be mandatory for you to link your bank account with Aadhaar card. Tell that to complete all the works of verification and linking, the government is setting up camps in the villages. You also go to these camps and complete your verification process.

Efforts are being made by the Central and State Governments to increase the income of the farmers. Many new schemes are being started for this. One of these schemes has been started by the Government of Rajasthan, with the help of which farmers are being encouraged to earn income through other means other than farming. Actually, this scheme of Rajasthan government is related to fisheries.

Under the scheme, the state government is going to provide free fish seeds to the farmers. By doing this, on one hand, the government is encouraging the business of fish farming in the state, while on the other hand, it is helping the farmers. According to the information released by the government regarding this scheme, free fish seeds will be given to 20 thousand farmers of the state. An amount of Rs 2 crore has been approved by the government for this scheme.
