It will turn towards the northeast while coming over Madhya Pradesh and then it can give heavy rains in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand as well. But its effect will not be visible in the coastal parts of western Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra. The weather in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi is also likely to remain dry. Monsoon may become active once again in South India.

But from September 2, rain activities will increase in Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Jharkhand and East Madhya Pradesh which will gradually move towards Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. There may be light to moderate rain in Punjab and also in the mountains. There may be some increase in rain activities in the southern peninsula also. The weather of Haryana, Delhi, Western Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan will remain dry.
