Harvesting and threshing of summer moong

  • The Green gram crop is matured in 65-70 days. It means, the crop sown in the month of March-April becomes ready for harvesting in the month of May-June.

  • The pods become harvestable when they are ripe, light brown or black in colour.

  • The pods ripen unevenly in the plant, if all the pods of the plant are waited for ripen, then over-ripe pods start cracking, so the pods should be plucked 2-3 times as soon as they turn from green to black, and later cut the crop along with the plant.

  • Harvesting of beans at an immature stage results in poor grain yield and quality.

  • After harvesting crops by Sickle drying for one day in the field, and after that drying on the threshing floor. After drying, threshing can be done by beating with the sticks or by using a thresher.

  • Mix the crop residue in the soil by running a rotavator so that the crop residue works as green manure. With this, about 10 to 12 kg per acre of nitrogen in the soil is supplied for the next crop.

Leaf miner insect attack in cucumber crop

  • The tiny maggot insects are very small, legless, and yellow in colour and adult insects are light yellow in colour.

  • The symptoms of its damage are first visible on the leaves.

  • The larvae of this insect enter the leaves and make tunnels by eating the green matter. Due to this white spiral stripes appear on the leaves.

  • The affected plant bears less fruit and leaves fall prematurely. Plant growth stops and plants remain small.

  • Due to the attack of this insect, the photosynthesis of plants is also affected.

  • To control this pest, spray Abamectin 1.9% EC [Abacin] @ 150 ml or Spinosad 45% SC [Tracer] @ 60 ml or Cyantraniliprole 10.26% OD [Benevia] @ 250 ml per acre.

  • As a biological treatment, spray Beauveria bassiana [Bave curb] @ 500 gm/acre.

Take advantage of state government schemes, get direct information on this app

The economic condition of the farmers in the country is not good. Even after working hard in the fields, the farmers do not get a profit accordingly. The central and state governments are running many schemes to eliminate the economic problems of the farmers. However, despite this, the farmers are not able to get the benefits of these schemes.

At the same time, the farmers who come to know about the government schemes, have to make rounds of the office to take advantage of the scheme. To save the farmers from such a situation, the Rajasthan government has started a new initiative. Under which the government has developed a portal rajkisan.rajsthan.gov.in.

Through this portal, farmers can apply for farm sowing, irrigation pipeline, agricultural machinery and schemes related to agriculture. Along with this, you can apply here for the beneficial schemes run by the government. The format of the application on the portal is very short, due to which farmers do not face any kind of problem.

Apart from this, the state government has also launched three mobile apps for the farmers, which are very helpful for the farmers. The government has developed Rajkisan Khajoor Mobile App for date palm cultivation. Along with this, the ‘Raj Kisan Suvidha App’ has been launched for the application of schemes of animal husbandry and horticulture. With their help, farmers can easily take advantage of government schemes sitting at home.

A grant of 48 thousand rupees will be given on fencing, apply here

A large population of the country is dependent on the agriculture business. However, farming is not easy at all. Farmers have to face many problems in the field from sowing to harvesting. These include crop damage caused by stray animals.

In order to protect the crops from stray animals, farmers get the fencing done in the fields. Due to this stray animals cannot enter the field and the crop remains safe. However, small-scale farmers are not able to get the fencing done due to financial constraints. Due to this, they do a lot of damage.

To help the farmers financially, the Rajasthan government is running the Tarbandi scheme. Through the scheme, subsidies will be given for fencing in the fields, so that farmers of every category can protect their crops from stray animals. Where under the Rajasthan Crop Protection Mission, a maximum amount of Rs 48 thousand will be provided to the beneficiary for fencing up to 400 meters. Apart from this, there is a plan to give 40 thousand rupees to the general category farmer for fencing up to 400 meters.

To take advantage of the scheme, the applicant must have 1.5 hectares of cultivable land. If the applicant is getting the benefit of any other scheme related to agriculture, then he will not be considered eligible for the Tarbandi scheme. Let us inform you that the state government has started preparing for the Tarbandi scheme program for the year 2022-23. Due to this, the state government has sought applications for the grant from May 30.

To take advantage of the Tarbandi scheme, visit the official portal of the Rajasthan Agriculture Department ‘Raj Kisan Sathi’. Download Tarbandi Scheme Form Here. After that fill in all the information carefully and submit it.

Green coriander becomes expensive after tomato, a huge jump in prices

The effect of rising inflation is also seen in the market price. After lemon and tomato, now the price of green coriander is gaining momentum. The condition of the cost of coriander is that for the same amount of rupees you will buy a bundle of coriander, you can buy several kilos of onions.

Reason for increase in price

Due to the scorching heat of this time, the yield of coriander has been affected a lot. Due to overheating, it could not grow properly. Due to the decrease in yield and increasing demand in the market, its prices have increased. Due to this a small bundle of green coriander available for Rs.5 is now available for Rs.20.

However, farmers are getting good profits due to the rising price of coriander in the market. However, for the last few years, due to the loss in agriculture due to bad weather, the farmer brothers have reduced the cultivation of green coriander. Due to this, its prices in the market start touching the sky as soon as it gets hot.
