Farmers across the country have now started the work of sowing crops for the Kharif season. Kharif crops will now need good irrigation. In view of this, provision of subsidy is being given by the government on irrigation equipment. The state government has made a similar provision for the farmers of Bihar. In this episode, the government is giving subsidies of up to 90% on new techniques of irrigation like drip irrigation and machines used in sprinkler irrigation.

In fact, the state government has started this subsidy scheme to reduce the wastage of water and to promote the techniques of drip irrigation and sprinkler irrigation, which are useful in irrigating a maximum number of fields with minimum water. The Bihar Agriculture Department has tweeted on this issue and it is written in this tweet that “Take advantage of 90 percent of the micro irrigation scheme under irrigation water to every farm. The cost of the drip irrigation technique is Rs. 65,827. On this 90 per cent or Rs 59,244 as subsidy. However, if you still want to take advantage of this subsidy, then visit the official website of the Bihar Horticulture Department http://horticuolture.bihar.gov.in and apply.

Animal husbandry is a good option to start employment. Among them, the most popular occupation is goat rearing for milk and meat. However, not every willing person is financially capable to start goat farming. In such a situation, many schemes are being run to help the people. Through which loans are made available to interested people in the form of financial help.

In this sequence, NABARD is at the forefront of getting loans on subsidies for animal husbandry. Many state governments are providing loans at attractive rates with the help of banks and NABARD. Under this scheme, 25 to 35% of the total cost of business is given to the people as a subsidy. A subsidy of 33% is given to the people belonging to the BPL category, including the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. Apart from this, people of the OBC community can get a subsidy of 25%.

To start goat farming, go to any bank and fill out the application form in NABARD. After submission of the application form, the selected location for Animal Farm will be visited and inquired about by the Technical Officer. After this loan will be provided to the beneficiary under this scheme.
