You will get a bumper subsidy of 50%, get your polyhouse and shade net installed

polyhouse and shade net subsidy

In today’s time, if modern techniques are used properly in farming, then farming gives good profits. That is why the government also encourages farmers to use new techniques in their farming. In this episode, the Bihar government has also taken an important step. The state government will give half of the total cost as subsidy to the farmers of its state for installing shade net and polyhouse.

It is worth noting that farmers who have less land can get more yield even in less land by installing polyhouse and net house in their fields. Agricultural expenses are also reduced in farming with this technique and less water is also required. The biggest thing is that the fruits and vegetables grown with this technique are very good in quality. If the quality is good, it also gets a good price in the market.

According to a post made by the Bihar Agriculture Department on the X platform, the state government is giving a huge subsidy of 50% to the farmers for installing polyhouse and shade net under the “Horticulture Development Scheme” for protected farming. If you also want to take advantage of this special scheme and get polyhouse and shade net installed, then visit https://horticulture.bihar.gov.in/ and apply online.

Outbreak and prevention of red and yellow mites in crops

Outbreak and prevention of red and yellow mites in crops

Red and yellow mite is a very small insect which forms groups on the lower surface of the leaves. It sucks the juice from the leaves. Due to this, there is a lack of nutrients in the plants, the leaves wither and curl downwards, which stops the growth of the plants. Due to its outbreak, the fruits are less and fall without ripening. Webs appear on plants when heavily infected.

Control: To prevent this, adopt crop rotation or uproot and destroy the affected plants. Apart from this, spray Omite (Propargite 57% EC)  @ 400 ml/acre or Oberon (Spiromesifen 22.9% SC) @ 160 ml mixed in 200 litres of water.
