Now the heat will increase a lot in North India and North West India, it is possible that the temperature may go up to 47 and 48 degrees in some areas of Rajasthan. The temperature may also cross the 45 degree mark in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. The outbreak of severe heat will also be seen in Delhi. Along with Haryana, Punjab and Vidarbha, the heat will also wreak havoc in North Central Maharashtra. On the other hand, rain will continue in South India and heavy rains may also occur at some places from Andhra Pradesh to Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands including Lakshadweep. Northeast states may also receive light rain.
