Government is giving a huge subsidy of up to 70% for Greenhouse farming

New experiments are being done in farming and through many new techniques today farmers are getting success in making their farming easier and more profitable. Greenhouse farming is one of these techniques, through which farmers can cultivate any crop continuously for 12 months in any season. Through this technique, the crop remains completely healthy, and the outbreak of pests and diseases is very less in it.

Although the technology of greenhouse farming is a bit expensive and for this reason not every farmer is able to use it. The government understands this and that is why it provides huge subsidies for greenhouse farming. Good work is being done by the Rajasthan government in this regard. Under this, the state government is giving subsidies of up to 50% to general farmers and up to 70% to small, marginal, scheduled caste and scheduled tribe farmers for the construction of greenhouses of a maximum area of 4000 square meters. To take advantage of this subsidy, farmers can apply on the “Raj Kisan Sathi Portal”.

Iron plays a big role in fast growth and good yield of crops

Iron plays a big role in fast growth and good yield of crops
  • Iron element (Fe) known as ferrous is essential for crop growth and production.

  • Iron is a component of many enzymes associated with energy transfer, nitrogen reduction and fixation.

  • Iron deficiency is usually seen in soils with high pH because iron is unavailable to the plant in such soil.

  • Young leaves are chlorotic in iron-deficient plants.

  • Pale yellow mottling starts at the base of the leaves and spreads upward along the mid-rib and outward along the veins.

  • Its deficiency can be controlled by spraying @150-200 gm/acre of chelated Iron.
