Get drip, sprinkler and pipeline sets at 40 to 55 percent subsidy

In order to make available the means of irrigation to more and more farmers across the country, the government provides subsidies on the equipment used in irrigation and the construction of sources of irrigation, etc. Under this, targets are issued from time to time by the government for different districts and applications are sought from the farmers. Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Department had also issued a target to provide Drip, Sprinkler set, Pipe line set, Pump set (Diesel/Electricity), Raingun system on subsidy to the farmers under various schemes.

The Agriculture Department had earlier given permission to apply under these schemes till July 31, but so far the department has received very few applications. In view of this, the government has extended the last date for the application process. In districts/categories where fewer applications have been received, farmers can apply on the portal till August 8, 2023. After this, the online lottery will be drawn on August 9, 2023, against the remaining targets in the applications received.

It is worth mentioning that in Madhya Pradesh, there is a provision to give subsidy to the farmers on irrigation equipments under various schemes through the category and holding category of the farmer. Under this provision, farmers get subsidy ranging from 40 to 55%.

In the rainy season, farmers can earn a lot by cultivating fruits and vegetables. Among these crops, the cultivation of lemon can give good profit to the farmers. There is also a provision of subsidy on its cultivation by the government. Explain that the government provides a subsidy of Rs 30,000 to the farmers for cultivating lemons. By taking advantage of this subsidy, farmers can earn good profits at a low cost.

The Bihar government is making this subsidy available to the farmers of Bihar. The government is encouraging lemon cultivation among common farmers through this scheme. Farmers will get Rs 30,000 under the scheme in three instalments. Its first instalment will be Rs 18,000, while the second and third instalments will be Rs 6000-6000.

It is worth mentioning that the government has fixed the cost of lemon farming up to Rs 60,000 and the government itself is bearing 50% of this cost through subsidy. If you are a farmer in Bihar state and want to get a subsidy on lemon cultivation, then you can apply through the official website of this scheme http://horticulture.bihar.gov.in/HORTMIS/Home.aspx.
